The club has two relay events coming up for which entry is free to club runners.
The first is the Runnymede Relay to be held on Saturday July 4. This is a six person relay with a total distance of 26.2 miles. There are 3 legs of just under 3 miles and 3 of just under 6 miles. All legs start and finish at the same spot within Windsor Great Park with the first leg starting at 12 noon. I already have 10 members taking part so there will be plenty of BFR friends there. Please contact me if your want to join in.
The second is our own Bounders Relay to be held on Tuesday July 7. This is a 4 person relay each leg being around 2.5 miles each. All legs start and finish at the same spot in the woods just alongside the lower car park at Broadmoor with the first leg at 7:00PM. You can either make up your own team or turn up and we'll make the teams up on the night. The event is also open to other clubs, companies or other organisations at a fee of just £8 per team.
